Abolition 2000 US-India Deal Working Group

On 5 May 2007, at the Abolition 2000 Network's Annual General Meeting, held in Vienna during the NPT PrepCom, the network decided to establish a working group to campaign on the US-India nuclear deal. This is the working group's website.

The working group fought a tough campaign for over a year, but unfortunately, on 6 September 2008, the 45-nation Nuclear Suppliers' Group (NSG) agreed to allow a special exception for India from its nuclear trade guidelines.
